Work on Paper
I've always loved Tantric works on paper for their simplicity and the presence and the character of the paper. These mostly gouache pieces were done on Japanese paper, which is an important component of the work. I love what it brings to the work. Whether they were gouache or pencil, the forms were found and seen in the random piles of papers scattered on my work tables, often taken verbatim. This was a rich period of working with those piles and generating work on paper and later paintings on panels.
